Our Legacy

 The Elizalde family has a long history of providing quality services to our community. My grandfather, Jesus Elizalde, was a skilled mason for most of his life. Having grown up in Mexico, he sought work in the United States and eventually was able to afford a path to citizenship for himself, his young bride, and their 11 children.

 My father, Gerardo “Gerry” Elizalde, founded Santex Painting and Drywall, Inc. in 1977. Family owned and operated since its inception, Santex was originally founded by Gerry Elizalde and two of his brothers. Gerry managed to build and sustain a company focused on quality and an unsurpassed level of customer service.

 I worked alongside Dad for as far back as I can remember, joining him professionally in 2013 as his VP. In 2019 we celebrated Dad’s retirement after 42 years in business with a fantastic party complete with a mariachi band, Texas BBQ, friends, and family.

 Our mission at Santex Painting and Construction is to continue the legacy of hard work and customer service above all else. We believe in the value of strong families and community and view our clients and our team as an extension of our family. I am excited to keep this tradition alive and look forward to assisting with your next project.
